Report: Minister says Russia not to ban titanium sales to Boeing

MOSCOW, Apr 18 (PRIME) -- Russia’s government will not restrict sales of titanium to U.S. aircraft maker Boeing as retaliation to the latest set of U.S. sanctions as it will hurt domestic titanium producer VSMPO-Avisma, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said in an interview with television channel Rossiya 24 on Wednesday.

“We will not support such decisions as they will primarily hurt sales of VSMPO-Avisma… Why would we make such decisions that affect our companies, our producers adversely?” he said.
